American clothing brand Tommy Hilfiger and outdoor brand Timberland have collaborated on a collection that pays homage to the colorful signature styles of the 90s.
Titled ‘Tommy x Timberland’ the limited capsule comprises of 17-pieces that celebrates the legacy of the two cult brands. Reminiscent of the hip-hop scene of the time it features parkas, multifunctional zip-off carpenter pants and two-in-one reversible varsity jackets, Bum Bags and a reinterpretation of the classic Timberland 6-inch boot with Tommy Hilfiger DNA.
The color palette is a juxtaposition of the typical Timberland beige and orange tones with Tommy base colors red, white and blue while Tommy’s signature flag logo has been with the Timberland tree into a hybrid logo that runs through the entire collection.
A perfect blend of outdoor functionality and Americana style, the capsule has been designed for outdoor adventurers, with all of the pieces being versatile, multifunctional and suited for an active lifestyle.
To accompany the launch of the collection Hilfiger and Timberland a campaign was shot on the streets of New York City by local skate photographer and multidisciplinary collage artist Jack Greer and videographer Malt Disney.
