London-based cult womenswear brand Rixo has joined forces with French fashion house Christian Lacroix for its Autumn/Winter 2020 collection.
The British design duo consisting of Henrietta Rix and Orlagh McCloskey were invited by the couturier to delve into his archive. Comprising of ready-to-wear looks, the collection features skirts, short blazers, and long dresses all of which were inspired by Lacroix’s signature dazzling prints. Rixo debuted the collection during their fall/winter 2020 show at London Fashion Week via Instagram’s see-now-buy-now feature.
‘It was really refreshing to see that a couture brand was willing to let us completely access the archive and pick different things that we wanted,’ the brand told Vogue.
The Rixo x Christian Lacroix collection is available now in Rixo, Browns Fashion stores Galeries Lafayette Champs Elysees Paris as well as online.
