Italian Fashion House Valentino will launch its latest project in Paris and New York.
Titled ‘Valentino Le Blanc’ the project was first unveiled by Valentino’s creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli in Milan at the brand’s boutique on Via Montenapoleone during the Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2020-2021.
The monochrome collection pays homage to the houses’ founder and his legendary Haute Couture Spring/Summer 1968 All White collection. Comprising of revisited wardrobe staples such as the shirt, dresses, coats, and accessories the collection encompasses the entire chromatic spectrum it gives value to differences, enlivening the SS20 collection to evoke the true inclusivity of the Maison.
The highlight of the collection is an exclusive ‘Made To Order’ service which is available in selected Valentino boutiques. Through the walk-in couture appointment, Valentino’s devoted clientele can personalize their shirt for a truly one-of-a-kind creation. One can choose between a long or short cut, three different sleeve types and a variety of embroidered applications and experience the all-embracing culture of Couture.
The all-white campaign images were shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin and features Adut Akech, Zso Varju and Evie Harris amongst others sporting immaculate looks from the Valentino Spring/Summer 2020 collection.
The Valentino Le Blanc pop up will be held from March 1-4 2020 in the Valentino boutique in Paris, In New York (March 2-5), and thereafter Los Angeles (March 11-14) and Dallas (March 25-27).
